Hi michele k62,Thanks for writing to Microsoft Communities. From the problem description I understand that you are not able to access MGI Photosuite 4 application. Before starting with the troubleshooting steps, I need the following information: Do you get any error message?I would suggest you to try running the program in compatibility mode. Follow these steps:a) Press the ‘ Windows + W’ key on the keyboard.b) Type compatibility in the search box and then pressenter.c) Click “ Run programs made for previous versions of Windows” option from the list appeared in the left side.d) Select the program and run.Let us know if you need further assistance. We will be happy to help you.Thanks.
I had the same problem on Win 7. I tracked it down to when I loaded Internet Explorer 10. Once I removed it or did System Restore to a date prior to the IE 10 download, Photosuite worked again. After I installed Win 8, I once again lost use ofPhotosuite. Therefore I conclude that for some reason it is IE 10 causing the problem. If you are running Win 7 and IE 10, uninstall IE 10 and see what happens. If you are running Win 8, I'm not sure you can remove IE 10.I removed IE 10 and PhotoSuite still did not work, so I have no clue what the problem is, unless it would have started to work had I loaded IE 9.
